Shopping at Promotech Inc.
- Does Promotech have a retail store-front? How can I visit your shop and purchase something there?
Yes, Promotech Inc. has branches islandwide. The Promotech MEGASTORE is located at The Sheraton Mall and is open from 9am to 9pm, Mon to Sat (6 days a week) plus extended hours and Sundays during the Christmas season.
Promotech Warrens is located at The Orange Mall at Warrens and is open from 9am to 6pm, Mon to Fri and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.
The Promotech Headquarters is located at Bond #9, Kendal Hill, Christ Church, Barbados and is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Mon to Fri.
The Promotech Online Store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customers can use the online features and make purchases directly online or visit us at any of our locations.
Regardless, of online or retail store services, our customer service representatives are on duty to provide you with excellent customer service and support.
- Can I pick up an order? Where is the pick-up center?
Yes, you can pick up orders at any of our branches- Promotech MEGASTORE at The Sheraton Mall, Promotech Warrens at The Orange Mall at Warrens or from the Promotech Headquarters at Kendal Hill all located in Barbados. Please contact us for more contact information.
- Does Promotech Inc offer price matching with other computer retailers?
Yes, Promotech Inc. is known islandwide for its best price, match price policy. We offer any price match for our products provided that the competitive price is being offered by a local physical retail front in Barbados. Our prices are updated at our retail stores and on our online branch daily. Promotech Inc. is a well established computer store and has very low margins on all our products to provide customers with the best prices.
- How do I add items to my shopping cart?
We accept orders via our online ordering system. We will require you to provide your details such as your name, address, email address, and payment options. We strongly encourage all our clients to open an online account to maximise use of all our features.
- How can I track my order?
Simply login to my account and go to "Order Status" to view all your orders and "Completed Order" for your previous order history.
- Does Promotech Inc. accept phone, fax or email orders?
Yes, we do accept phone, fax and email orders. Fax: 246-428-4454 Corporate customers please fax/email your company purchase order.
- I didn't see an order confirmation page. Was my order submitted successfully?
An order confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email as soon as you have completed your order. If you did not receive this email even though you clicked the last submit button, our server may not have received your order. This happens when communication back to your PC is interrupted following your order submission. Feel free to email/call our Customer Service Department to obtain order status in case of interruptions.
- Can you ship internationally?
Yes, Promotech Inc. can ship Caribbean wide and internationally at this moment at the shipping fees outlined based on individual orders.
- I just placed an order for an item that is out of stock. When will I be charged for it?
You will not be charged for an item that is out of stock. We will send you an email once we have received this item. Alternatively, you can view related items to purchase a similar product.
- How long will it take to process my order?
It takes one to two business days for us to process and deliver a local order.
- How do I cancel my order?
Simply email us by replying to the original order confirmation email or contact our Customer Service Department at 246-420-4847 immediately. We will cancel your order, however there may be a mandatory cancellation fee that will be charged to your account for administration and order charges incurred.
- What payment methods does Promotech Inc. accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit Cards, Cheques and cash payments only. We do not charge your account until we have shipped your order. We also accept Company Cheques for all pre-approved corporate customers and Government Cheques for Government Purchase orders. Identification must be provided when paying by credit card or cheque.
- Can I trust Promotech Inc. for giving my Credit card detail online?
Yes! Our website uses SSL encryption technology to protect your personal information. We have placed all our links in a secure environment for the entire duration of your order completion process.
Return Policy Information
- What is the standard return policy for Promotech Inc. products?
Products sold by Promotech Inc. are supported by our Standard Return Policy unless otherwise indicated. Merchandise under our Standard Return Policy may be returned within 7 days of the original invoice date for a refund (subject to 15% restocking fee) or within 15 days of the original invoice date for a replacement.
Warranty Policy Summary
Products with manufacturer defects will be repaired under warranty. If products can not be repaired they will be replaced. All products are covered under 3 months warranty from the time of purchase. Desktop and notebook computers are covered by a one year warranty.
- What is Promotech Inc's Software Return Policy?
Software is non-refundable and can not be exchanged. Please confirm that your hardware meets the software's minimum requirements before ordering.
Please check the specifications and compatibility of the goods being ordered to ensure they are what you require as we do not supply goods on a trial basis. If you have any questions, please contact our technical department to provide assistance and customer support.
This policy is in place to protect our customers from software piracy.
- I've bought a product but I have changed my mind, can I return it?
We will accept return goods for refund if the item is not as described. Please note that we are not legally required to accept goods for refund if you have simply changed your mind. Mandatory 15% Restocking fees will incur and it is determined by the condition of the returned goods. Minimum restocking fee is 15% (only within 7 days of original invoice date). Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. We will do our very best to accomodate requests. This policy is in effect to ensure that all customers purchasing items receive them in their original brand new condition.
- What happens when an item is out-of-stock?
Our Sales Team will contact you to discuss the ETA (Estimate Time Of Arrival) or alternative products. Customers can also choose to cancel the order without any fees.
- Does Promotech special order items which are not currently sold online or in store?
Yes we do! Please contact us to receive your special price and speedy delivery times.
